FCT #6 looks over the Atlantic from Gordon's Pond
Fire Control Tower Six (#6) watches over the coastline from its (current) beachfront location. This pair of Towers (#5 & #6) were origianlly built hundreds of yards back from the water. But time marches on and so do the forces of erosion - marching the waters ever farther westward - so this tower now stands awash in stormy weather at high tide.
These twin sentries seem small when viewed from the top observation level of FCT #7, a couple miles to the north.
